VALLETTA CRUISE PORT -  Week 27 of 2018. Interesting Week seeing different types of ships with cruise liners Sunday 1st July, 2018. From 0332 hrs to 2319 hrs the 1997 built MLT flag cruise liner  MEIN SCHIFF 2 was at  Valletta berthing at Pinto 1 and 2 Wharves coming from Piraeus, Greece and bound to Dubrovnik, Croatia. From 0715-1800 hrs the 2012 built MLT flag cruise liner  CELEBRITY REFLECTION  was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 4 and 5 wharves coming from Messina, Sicily and departing to Mykonos, Greece. Above vessels  were represented in Malta by SMS Shipping (http://www.sms.com.mt) Monday 2nd July, 2018. At 2335 hrs the 2008 built MLT flag passenger ship  ARETHUSA left Valletta from  Pinto 3 wharf. Thursday 2nd November, 2017. The 2014 built NOR flag cruise liner VIKING STAR entered port arriving from Ashdod on a rainy sunrise making her maiden call. She's bearing imo 9650418. A regular visitor the 2005 built DIS flag container ship GUDRUN MAERSK was seen calling. Her imo is 9302877. Also the 1988 built NLD flag cruise liner PRINSENDAM entered port. She's the former ROYAL VIKING SUN until November 1999 and SEABOURN SUN until June 2002 bearing imo 8700280. Also early in the morning 2 units from Cyprus Navy were seen leaving Port - P 03 COMMANDER GEORGIV and P 05. Monday 23 rd  October, 2017. Early afternoon was the departure of the cruise liner  NAUTICA. Tuesday 24th October, 2017. The 2006 built PRT flag container ship  MSC GENEVA  en tered port around 1450 hrs.
