The 1974 built self propelled hopper barge SAN LUCA PRIMO entered Marsaxmxetto Harbour bound to Marina di Valletta, Pieta Creek for placing boulders after being loaded from Pozzallo Port, Sicily. New Algoma Ship arrived in Canada. The ALGOMA NIAGARA, the first of two new Equinox class self-unloading lake bulk carriers from a Chinese shipyard arrived earlier during the early days of November 2017 after  making her  two-month journey to Canada according to its owner, Algoma Central Corp. The ALGOMA NIAGARA is the first of two new Equinox-Class 740-foot self-unloaders being built at Yangzijiang Shipyard and she will be joined by her sister ship, the ALGOMA SAULT during the first half of 2018. She's the formerly NANTONG MINGDE MD161 SUL 07. It will be the fifth Equinox-Class vessel to join the Algoma Great Lakes fleet, the company said.  Four Equinox-Class gearless-bulkers are already in operation in the Algoma fleet servicing the company’s grain and iron ore customers. Thursday 2nd November, 2017. The 2014 built NOR flag cruise liner VIKING STAR entered port arriving from Ashdod on a rainy sunrise making her maiden call. She's bearing imo 9650418. A regular visitor the 2005 built DIS flag container ship GUDRUN MAERSK was seen calling. Her imo is 9302877. And the 1998 built passenger ship CLIO was seen again for the second time this year arriving from Sokna, Egypt. Imo 9159830 Friday 3rd November, 20
