The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel -

Sunday 29th  October, 2017.

The 2003 built ITA flag cruise liner AIDAAURA entered port. She's bearing imo 9221566.



Tuesday 31st October, 2017.

The Israeli Shipyards built OPV for Cyprus Navy - P 61 was spotted doing sea trials. 



Wednesday 1st November, 2017.

The French Navy La Fayette Class Frigate FS ACONIT F 713 paid a diplomatic visit.




Thursday 2nd November, 2017.

The 2014 built NOR flag cruise liner VIKING STAR entered port arriving from Ashdod on a rainy sunrise making her maiden call. She's bearing imo 9650418.



A regular visitor the 2005 built DIS flag container ship GUDRUN MAERSK was seen calling. Her imo is 9302877.


And the 1998 built passenger ship CLIO was seen again for the second time this year arriving from Sokna, Egypt. Imo 9159830



Friday 3rd November, 2017.

The Turkish tugs YOZGAT, BOZKURT formerly POINT GILBERT until August 2007; POINT GILBERT I until October 2007 and GANGUT until 2017 bearing imo of 7210824 and DALGIC were spotted towing barges that were involved in the construction of the new Mifratz (Bay) harbor.




Saturday 4th November, 2017

The 2002 built cruise liner CELEBRITY CONSTELLATION called again in the morning and leaving in the evening around 2230 hrs.

Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) is located within the inner of Valletta (Grand Harbour), and ideally positioned to serve the marine oil and gas servicing industries by providing drilling, sub-sea and marine operations, engineering, maintenance and storage and other services. The following are movements within Week 18 - Wednesday 2nd May, 2018. Around 1145 hrs the 2008 built PAN flag offshore support vessel MO TOUCAN started shifting from MMH Quay Wall 2 West to Magazine Wharf to make berthing space for another vessel. Vessel  was represented in Malta by SMS Shipping (http://www.sms.com.mt) The 2010 built NLD flag tugboat SD SALVOR  was seen leaving Valletta bound to Augusta, Sicily following the offshore support vessel MO TOUCAN. At 1300 hrs the 2001 built BHS flag multi purpose offshore vessel (MPSV)  SKANDI CARLA was seen leaving Valletta from MMH bound to Cartagena, Spain.  Later
BFT (Blue Fin Tuna) Season 2018 - Updates - 18.05.2018 The Blue Fin Season (BFT) 2018 continued with Italian vessels towing cages working for Maltese Tuna Ranches. From 0727 - 1600 hrs the 1995  built Italian flag 28.10 metres stern trawler  BARTOLOMEO ASARO  with fishing number   MV  371  was at Valletta.  Then she proceeded south to Marsaxlokk harbour to tow a cage bound to the Tyrrhenian Sea. From 0829 - 1641 hrs the 1968  built Italian flag 32.31 metres stern trawler GIULI A P.G. with fishing number   MV  378  was at Valletta.  Then she proceeded south to Marsaxlokk harbour to tow a cage bound to the Tyrrhenian Sea. At 0928 hrs  the 2008 built Italian flag 28.82 metres stern trawler  END   with fishing number   PA 1352   entered Valletta chartered by Mareblu Tuna Ranch berthing at Magazine Wharf.  At 1645 hrs  the 1976 built Maltese flag workboat ROSARIA TUNA   with fishing number   MFD 8511   left Valletta towing
Ships at Haifa, Israel in Week 8 of 2018. The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel - Monday 19th February, 2018. The salvage grounded vessel  DIANA  was towed to Tuzla, Turkey by the offshore supply ship STRATIS Z .  Tuesday 20th February, 2018. The French Navy Georges Leygues class frigate  D643 FS JEAN DE VIENNE  left harbour assisted by Harbour tugs ARIEL and ELAD. Friday 23rd February, 2018.
