OFFSHORE - A.H.VARAZZE at Malta - 21.02.2018. The 2014 built ITA flag offshore tug supply ship A.H. VARAZZE  entered Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta for Palumbo Malta Shipyard on Wednesday 21st February 2018. This is her second call this year so far. She was built by Rosetti Marino at Ravenna, Italy as ASSO TRENTADUE but was renamed and acquired by Rimorchiatori Riuniti during November 2014. Towage - MEGARA spotted off Malta - 17.02.2018. The 1993 built ITA flag tugboat  MEGARA  was spotted 11 nautical miles North West off Mgarr Harbour, Gozo on Saturday 17th February during a passage from Zarzis, Tunisia to Augusta, Sicily at 0515 hrs ( 0415 UTC) . She was built in Germany by Hitzler Werft, Lauenberg with gross of 304 tons. AH VARAZZE fixed again by TRANSOCEAN . The 2014 built anchor handling tug/supply vessel A.H. VARAZZE formerly ASSO TRENTADUE has been fixed again by TRANSOCEAN to tow the midwater floater TRANSOCEAN PROSPECT from offshore Methil, Fife, Scotland to Aliaga, Turkey for   recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
