Interesting Week seeing different types of ships with cruise liners


Sunday 1st July, 2018.

From 0332 hrs to 2319 hrs the 1997 built MLT flag cruise liner MEIN SCHIFF 2 was at  Valletta berthing at Pinto 1 and 2 Wharves coming from Piraeus, Greece and bound to Dubrovnik, Croatia.



From 0715-1800 hrs the 2012 built MLT flag cruise liner CELEBRITY REFLECTION was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 4 and 5 wharves coming from Messina, Sicily and departing to Mykonos, Greece.

Monday 2nd July, 2018.

At 2335 hrs the 2008 built MLT flag passenger ship ARETHUSA left Valletta from  Pinto 3 wharf.



Tuesday 3rd July, 2018.


From 0546 hrs - 1727 hrs the 2017 built MLT flag cruise liner MEIN SCHIFF 6 was at  Valletta berthing at Pinto 1 and 2 Wharves coming from Catania, Sicily and bound to Ibiza, Spain.


Vessel was represented in Malta by SMS Shipping (http://www.sms.com.mt)


Wednesday 4th July, 2018.

From 0615 to 1738 hrs the 2018 built MLT flag cruise liner MSC SEAVIEW was berthed at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves.




Thursday 5th July, 2018.

From 0518 hrs to 2110 hrs the 2000 built BMU flag cruise liner OCEANA was at  Valletta berthing at Pinto 1 and 2 Wharves.


Vessel was represented in Malta by Malta Cruise Services, a division of Mifsud 
Brothers Ltd - (http://www.mbl.com.mt/) 





From 1219 to 2100 hrs the 1998 built BHS flag liner NORWEGIAN SPIRIT was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 4 and 5 Wharves.

Friday 6th July, 2018.

At 0712 hrs the 200 built MLT flag passenger ship ARTEMIS entered Valletta berthing at Pinto 4 wharf.

MAERSK INVENTOR at Malta - 18.05.2018. The 2018 built Isle of Man  flagged (IOM) Subsea Support Vessel (SSV)   MAERSK INVENTOR   entered Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta for the first time on Friday 18th May, 2018 at 0715 hrs. She's the third out of four Stingray Class Subsea Support Vessel. Maersk  ordered a series of four Stingray vessels in 2014. Designed together with Marin Teknikk, the ships are built as a platform to carry out deep and shallow water operations. With an energy efficient propulsion set-up, these DP 3 vessels feature a 400-ton active heave compensated (AHC) crane and two work class remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) capable of operating in a water depth of up to 3,000 meters. Last Voyage - SEVEN OSPREY at Malta - 05.01 - 17.02.2018. The 1984 built LBR flag diving and light construction  vessel SEVEN OSPREY  left Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta on Saturday 17th February, 2018 from Bormla Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd after she entered Valletta on Friday 5th January berthing at the Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) and shifted to Palumbo on Saturday 6th January.
