Naval Movements at Valletta, Malta -  Week 27 of 2018.
The following are movements within Week 27 -
Monday 2nd July, 2018.
At 0915 hrs the Portsmouth based Hunt Class Mine Counter Measures Vessel (MCMV) HMS BROCKLESBY M 33 entered Valletta berthing at Boiler Wharf.

Following her at 0922 hrs was the Faslane based Sandown Class minehunter HMS SHOREHAM M 112  berthing at Boiler Wharf too.


Wednesday 4th July, 2018.
At 0433 hrs the UK Border Force Cutter HMC PROTECTOR entered Valletta berthing at Bezzina Ship Repair Yard, Coal Wharf.

Thursday 5th July, 2018.
At 1203 hrs the Sandown Class minehunter HMS SHOREHAM M 112  followed by the Hunt Class Mine Counter Measures Vessel (MCMV) HMS BROCKLESBY M 33 left Valletta from Boiler Wharf.

Around 1315 hrs the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) P 62 entered Valletta with VIPS aboard for a harbour tour.

Friday 6th July, 2018.
At 0815 hrs the UK Border Force Cutter HMC PROTECTOR left Valletta from Bezzina Ship Repair Yard, Coal Wharf.

Meanwhile the Royal Navy Echo Class Hydrographic Ship HMS ECHO H 87 continued her authorised survey.

Saturday 7th July, 2018.
0423-0454 the Royal Navy Hydrographic Ship HMS ECHO H 87 conducted a conveyance service off Grand Harbour.

The 1980 built CYP flag ferry RIGEL II  left Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta from Palumbo Malta Shipyard Dock 4 on Monday 12th March 2018 assisted by 1 local SEA SALVOR with 1 pilot aboard while 1 Pilot was assisting the dock master at the Dock. VALLETTA CRUISE PORT -  Week 28 of 2018 . Interesting Week seeing different types of ships with cruise liners Aerial Image of GRAND HARBOUR, Malta back to 8th December 2009 Sunday 8th July, 2018. At 2210 hrs the 2007 built MLT flag passenger ship  ARTEMIS  left Valletta from  Pinto 4 wharf. Wednesday 11th July, 2018. From 0614 to 1733 hrs the 2018 built  MSC SEAVIEW  was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves.   From 0628 to 1703 hrs the  the 1998 built  VISION OF THE SEAS was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 4 and 5 wharves . Vessel  was represented in Malta by SMS Shipping (http://www.sms.com.mt) Thursday 12th July, 2018. From 0514 to 2147 hrs the 2000 built BMU flag cruise liner OCEANA  was at  Valletta berthed at  Pinto 1 and 2 wharves. Fugro to install new undersea power cable in South Australia Fugro has been awarded a contract to install a subsea power cable for South Australia’s distribution network management company, SA Power Networks. The new 20,000 kVA/33,000 Volt cable will replace the existing 10,000 kVA/33,000 Volt undersea cable, which is reaching the end of its life. The subsea asset is a continuous 15-kilometre-long cable, weighing 600 tonnes and connects Kangaroo Island to the distribution network on the southern Fleurieu Peninsula, south of Adelaide.
