MMH MALTA -  Week 23 of 2018.


Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) is located within the inner of Valletta (Grand Harbour), and ideally positioned to serve the marine oil and gas servicing industries by providing drilling, sub-sea and marine operations, engineering, maintenance and storage and other services.
The following are movements within Week 23 -
Sunday 3rd June, 2018.

At 0707 hrs the 2012 built ITA flag Offshore Tug/Supply Ship VOS THALASSA entered Valletta coming from Offshore Libya.

At 0845 hrs the 2003 built NIS flag Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) SKANDI CALEDONIA entered Valletta.


Monday 4th June, 2018.

At 0749 hrs the 2012 built GIB flag offshore tug/supply ship tugboat VOS ATHOS entered Valletta coming from Kingstown, Jamaica.

At 1447 hrs the 2005 built NLD flag tugboat EN AVANT 1 entered Valletta coming from Offshore Libya.

Wednesday 6th June, 2018.

At 1200 hrs the 2003 built NIS flag Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) SKANDI CALEDONIA left Valletta.

Thursday 7th June, 2018.

While the 2012 built ITA flag Offshore Tug/Supply Ship VOS THALASSA was leaving Valletta bound to Al Jurf Oilfied, Libya she encountered an engine failure with local tugboat SEA SALVOR giving assistance coming from Offshore Libya.

Around 1145 hrs the 2008 built PAN flag offshore support vessel MO TOUCAN started shifting from MMH Quay Wall 2 West to Magazine Wharf to make berthing space for another vessel. Vessel  was represented in Malta by SMS Shipping (http://www.sms.com.mt) The 2010 built NLD flag tugboat SD SALVOR  was seen leaving Valletta bound to Augusta, Sicily following the offshore support vessel MO TOUCAN. At 1300 hrs the 2001 built BHS flag multi purpose offshore vessel (MPSV)  SKANDI CARLA was seen leaving Valletta from MMH bound to Cartagena, Spain....

Last Voyage - SEVEN OSPREY at Malta - 05.01 - 17.02.2018. The 1984 built LBR flag diving and light construction  vessel SEVEN OSPREY  left Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta on Saturday 17th February, 2018 from Bormla Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd after she entered Valletta on Friday 5th January berthing at the Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) and shifted to Palumbo on Saturday 6th January.
