VALLETTA CRUISE PORT -  OCEANA - 17.05.2018.


Every single Thursday during 2018 the cruise ship of the P&O Cruise Line OCEANA is calling at Valletta Cruise Port berthing at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves to finish/start cruises from Malta.
Below images are of the cruise liner entering Valletta back to 26th April, 2018 -







Various changes regarding her ETA (Estimate Time of Arrival)happened due to 

weather conditions apart that back on the 12th April she was going to return

back to Valletta due to a passenger which needed urgent medical attention

giving eta of 0100 hrs of which later on it was decided that she will complete on

her voyage due that the passenger that needed medical evacuation was in 

stable condition.


Vessel was represented in Malta by Malta Cruise Services, a division of Mifsud

MAERSK INVENTOR at Malta - 18.05.2018. The 2018 built Isle of Man  flagged (IOM) Subsea Support Vessel (SSV)   MAERSK INVENTOR   entered Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta for the first time on Friday 18th May, 2018 at 0715 hrs. She's the third out of four Stingray Class Subsea Support Vessel. Maersk  ordered a series of four Stingray vessels in 2014. Designed together with Marin Teknikk, the ships are built as a platform to carry out deep and shallow water operations. With an energy efficient propulsion set-up, these DP 3 vessels feature a 400-ton active heave compensated (AHC) crane and two work class remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) capable of operating in a water depth of up to 3,000 meters. VALLETTA CRUISE PORT -  Week 28 of 2018 . Interesting Week seeing different types of ships with cruise liners Aerial Image of GRAND HARBOUR, Malta back to 8th December 2009 Sunday 8th July, 2018. At 2210 hrs the 2007 built MLT flag passenger ship  ARTEMIS  left Valletta from  Pinto 4 wharf. Wednesday 11th July, 2018. From 0614 to 1733 hrs the 2018 built  MSC SEAVIEW  was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves.   From 0628 to 1703 hrs the  the 1998 built  VISION OF THE SEAS was at Valletta berthed at Pinto 4 and 5 wharves .
