VALLETTA CRUISE PORT -  MSC MERAVIGLIA - 28.03.2018


The 2017 French built Vista Project Class Cruise Liner MSC MERAVIGLIA was seen again at Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta on Wednesday 28th March, 2018 with 5,585 passengers

She was berthed at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves port side alongside. And below images are of her off Comino  at 0625 -







While visiting Malta you can spend a day at the Splash & Fun Water Park, situated in Bahar ic-Caghaq on the northern coast or the East Coast.

Splash & Fun Water Park is a large water amusement park suitable for all ages. The park is an enjoyable day in the sun for the whole family, or any adult with a sense of adventure. A variety of swimming pools including a wave pool, water slides, a lazy river, Dinosaur Park and Splash Land are all available with the Black Hole, an enclosed slide with exciting dips and bends as you ride a 120 meter tube, is the park's newest attraction.

At 1300 hrs the 2001 built BHS flag multi purpose offshore vessel (MPSV)  SKANDI CARLA was seen leaving Valletta from MMH bound to Cartagena, Spain.  Later

BFT (Blue Fin Tuna) Season 2018 - Updates - 18.05.2018 The Blue Fin Season (BFT) 2018 continued with Italian vessels towing cages working for Maltese Tuna Ranches. From 0727 - 1600 hrs the 1995  built Italian flag 28.10 metres stern trawler  BARTOLOMEO ASARO  with fishing number   MV  371  was at Valletta.  Then she proceeded south to Marsaxlokk harbour to tow a cage bound to the Tyrrhenian Sea. From 0829 - 1641 hrs the 1968  built Italian flag 32.31 metres stern trawler GIULI A P.G. with fishing number   MV  378  was at Valletta.  Then she proceeded south to Marsaxlokk harbour to tow a cage bound to the Tyrrhenian Sea. At 0928 hrs  the 2008 built Italian flag 28.82 metres stern trawler  END   with fishing number   PA 1352   entered Valletta chartered by Mareblu Tuna Ranch berthing at Magazine Wharf.  At 1645 hrs  the 1976 built Maltese flag workboat ROSARIA TUNA   with fishing number   MFD 8511   left Valletta towing
