COLLISION - ENKO at Valletta, Malta - 06.11.2010
During the afternoon of Saturday 6th November 2010 around 1530 hrs (1430 UTC) a collision happened at Grand Harbour when the 1983 built Turkish flag and owned general cargo ship ENKO developed engine failure while she was going to berth at Laboratory Wharf South 2 and moved astern colliding with the 1991 built research vessel WESTERN PRIDE berthed at Wine Wharf causing slight damage to both vessels. At 1550 hrs (1450 UTC) the tugboat WENZINA was seen leaving her berth to assist ENKO to berth at her berth.
