DRYDOCKING - Container ship MSC ATHOS - 22.02.2018.
The 2013 built MLT flag container ship MSC ATHOS entered Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta for Palumbo Malta Shipyard for her 5 year survey on Thursday 22nd February 2018 assisted by 3 local tugs LIENI, MARI and SEA SALVOR with 2 pilots aboard while 1 Pilot was assisting the dock master at the Dock.
She was built in South Korea by Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering at Tongyoung as Yard Number 4011 with a length overall of 299.95 metres and a beam of 48.34 metres. She has a deadweight of 110,772 tons with a GT of 92,500 tons. TEU Capacity is 8,800 and chartered to MSC while owned and managed by Costamare, Greece.
