Ships at Haifa, Israel in Week 47 of 2017.


The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel -



Sunday 19th November, 2017.

The 1991 built BHS flag cruise liner AMADEA left port in the evening after 2 days visit.




Tuesday 21st November, 2017.

The 2016 built ISR flag and owned tugboat DANCHOR VI berthed at port from Ashdod, Israel. She's bearing imo as 9530383.



Wednesday 22nd November, 2017.

The 1977 built PAN flag cruise liner GOLDEN IRIS departed to her lay up destination at Chalkis, Greece which is around 502 km off Athens. She's bearing imo as 7358573 and she's the former CUNARD CONQUEST until March 1977; CUNARD PRINCESS until June 1995 and RHAPSODY until April 2009.




The 2004 built CYP flag and owned tugboat EDT ZENON was spotted entering Harbour. She's the former DUTCH PARTNER until November 2008 bearing imo as 9315977.




Thursday 23rd November, 2017.


The 2016 built ISR flag and owned tugboat DANCHOR VI was seen towing the 1977 built PAN flag general cargo ship ECE K bearing imo of 7622089 of which was arrested back in 2013 used as a target by the Israeli Navy and owned by RAFAEL ADVANCED DEFENCE SYSTEM based at Haifa, Israel according to equasis.org.





The 1968 built COK flag fisheries patrol vessel MED SURVEYOR arrived from Limassol, Cyprus. She's bearing imo of 7629946 and she's the former DELAWARE II until August 2013.




Wednesday 24th November, 2017.

The 2017 built sailing yacht A arrived and was turning around Haifa Buoy 1. Harbor launch TAL 1 was assisting -towing a string of fenders to the berthing site. She was surrounded by a group of kayaks. Later she entered the harbor to the passenger terminal. She's bearing imo 1012141







Spotted later on was  the 1981 built Italian tug HYPSAS that departed to Ravenna towing a flat top barge loaded with structures of which their towing speed was of 7.3 knots. 






Then the 2010 built 323m container ship OOCL SEOUL left Haifa bound to El Dekheila. Her imo is 9417244.

MAERSK INVENTOR at Malta - 18.05.2018. The 2018 built Isle of Man  flagged (IOM) Subsea Support Vessel (SSV)   MAERSK INVENTOR   entered Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta for the first time on Friday 18th May, 2018 at 0715 hrs. She's the third out of four Stingray Class Subsea Support Vessel. Maersk  ordered a series of four Stingray vessels in 2014. Designed together with Marin Teknikk, the ships are built as a platform to carry out deep and shallow water operations. With an energy efficient propulsion set-up, these DP 3 vessels feature a 400-ton active heave compensated (AHC) crane and two work class remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) capable of operating in a water depth of up to 3,000 meters. Last Voyage - SEVEN OSPREY at Malta - 05.01 - 17.02.2018. The 1984 built LBR flag diving and light construction  vessel SEVEN OSPREY  left Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta on Saturday 17th February, 2018 from Bormla Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd after she entered Valletta on Friday 5th January berthing at the Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) and shifted to Palumbo on Saturday 6th January.
