Ships at Haifa, Israel in Week 42 of 2017.


The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel -

Sunday 15th October, 2017.

The 2004 built CYP flag and owned tug EDT ZENON was seen out to supply TSHD SHAHAF while dredging. She's the former Dutch tug DUTCH PARTNER bearing imo 9315977.


Then we had tankers replacing each other. They throw 2 anchors (one by one) in a V from off the bow and are tied to 4 buoys at the stern while discharging their crude oil to the refineries.

First one was the 20047 built MLT flag chemical/oil product tanker HOPE A bearing imo no 9282821.


She was followed by the 2012 built GRC flag and owned crude oil tanker NISSOS PAROS bearing imo 9592290 with pilotboat RONI II on duty.




And finally with the 2002 built LBR flag crude oil tanker SANTA CRUZ I bearing imo 9259680.


Tuesday 17th October, 2017.

The 40 m workboat HAI JIAN 26 arrived from Ashdod. The Chinese working here put a lot of their equipment under Israeli flag.



The 2006 built PAN flag container ship MSC JOANNA left Haifa bound to Valencia, Spain bearing imo 9304435.


On her completion the 2000 built LUX flag container ship E.R. PUSAN entered port bearing imo 9211169 and she's the former E.R. PUSAN until April 2000 and OOCL LOS ANGELES until December 2009.


Thursday 19th October, 2017.

During dusk period the 2003 built BHS flag cruise liner SEVEN SEAS VOYAGER with imo 9247144 was seen leaving port after an overnight stay.




Friday 20th October, 2017.

The 1998 built MLT flag passenger ship CLIO was seen entering port. She's the former LE LEVANT until october 2012 and TERE MOANA until June 2016 with imo 9159830.

MAERSK INVENTOR at Malta - 18.05.2018. The 2018 built Isle of Man  flagged (IOM) Subsea Support Vessel (SSV)   MAERSK INVENTOR   entered Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta for the first time on Friday 18th May, 2018 at 0715 hrs. She's the third out of four Stingray Class Subsea Support Vessel. Maersk  ordered a series of four Stingray vessels in 2014. Designed together with Marin Teknikk, the ships are built as a platform to carry out deep and shallow water operations. With an energy efficient propulsion set-up, these DP 3 vessels feature a 400-ton active heave compensated (AHC) crane and two work class remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs) capable of operating in a water depth of up to 3,000 meters. Last Voyage - SEVEN OSPREY at Malta - 05.01 - 17.02.2018. The 1984 built LBR flag diving and light construction  vessel SEVEN OSPREY  left Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta on Saturday 17th February, 2018 from Bormla Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd after she entered Valletta on Friday 5th January berthing at the Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH) and shifted to Palumbo on Saturday 6th January.
