Ships at Haifa, Israel in Week 2 of 2018. The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel - Tuesday 9th January, 2018. The 2009 built LBR flag Heavy Load Carrier  DOCK III  was seen leaving port to Izmir, Turkey after her loads by trucks was done. The 1989 built PAN Flag river ship SIR was seen at the East Block of Israel. And an Israeli Navy Saar 4.5 modified patrol craft was seen patrolling too. Ships at Haifa, Israel in Week 1 of 2018. The following movements are covered by a friend at Haifa, Israel - Thursday 4th January, 2018. The 1982 built CYP flag Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (THSD) SHAHAF was seen leaving port to her homeport at Limassol, Cyprus. On completion the 1990 built PAN flag bulker PETRA III was seen approaching Harbour. Definitely not a first timer here. Saturday 6th January, 2018. The 1975 built CYP flag offshore supply ship EAS  was seen leaving port to her position approximately 80 km south off Haifa. She was built as the EDDA SUN until 1979 where she was renamed as HMS SENTINEL P 246 with the Royal Navy until January 1993; GECO SAPPHIRE until 18th February 2003; EDT PROTEA until 3rd March 2003. French Navy FS ACONIT F 713 calling off Malta. - 17.01.2018 The 1999 commissioned multi mission stealth frigate of the French Navy  FS ACONIT F 713 called off 3 miles North East off Valletta (Grand Harbour), Malta on Wednesday 17th January, 2018 for a conveyance service with Pilot boat FOXTROT from 2231-2247 hrs. Originally to be named FS JAUREGUIBERRY she's now the Fourth in her class and the Fourth French Vessel to be renamed as ACONIT. In 2011 on 12th April she was due to call to Valletta for berthing inside during her deployment at Operation Unified Protector (OUP) Mission but her call was CANCELLED.  Interesting to say that her AIS was transmitting as UE WARSHIP and her destination was - EYE ON BENIN TTW. BAHR ESSALAM FIELD Movements - VOS PATIENCE at Malta. The 2017 built NLD flag and owned platform supply vessel  VOS PATIENCE  is being seen lately loading at Valletta, Malta using t he Mediterranean Maritime Hub  (MMH) facilities. She's chartered to TechnipFMC for the  Bahr Essalam Field, offshore Tripoli, Libya.  She's designed by Ulstein, one of a series of six PX121-type PSVs, constructed for Vroon at the COSCO Guangdong Shipyard in China and bearing imo 9709128. BAHR ESSALAM FIELD Movements - EDT ARGONAUT at Malta. The 1979 built CYP flag offshore supply vessel  EDT ARGONAUT  was seen entering Valletta, Malta coming from offshore Libya for mobilizing at the Mediterranean Maritime Hub (MMH). She was built by SIMEK in Norway and is the former LANGHAVN until July 1997.
